Reflections of you

COOL

I took this photo on Friday on the Beach, It was such a perfect day for taking photos. the sky was clear blue the the sand pools were like mirrors, until that is Diggory ran through them. I'm really pleased with the results of my snapping and wanted to scrap this one full size, so I printed it our A4 and used just one sheet of PP (imaginisce) and a single sheet of CS.

Lace and ribbon from my stash box and I cut the date circle with my new Stamping Up scallop punch. the Title in AC stickers on a K&Co journaling block.

SLYMI wk8 Cut a photo

FULL SPEED FUN
Using my beautiful new Autumn leaves papers and some BG chipboard shapes.
I printed the photo out A4 and then trimed it down to 4x11" for this I then cut the photo into three equal lengths. The title is done in American thickers.

Wednesday Scrapping

I love half terms ........ just maybe they could be two weeks long rather than just the one!!! I would get so much more done if this was the case..... maybe even some hose work ) or maybe not!! However i did manage to get five LO's done yesterday and a lovely long dog walk with my friend Sam and her children.
So here are my five LO's for the day, the morning's work first.
PLANNING THE PERFECT PINK DAY
My youngest niece Kirsten is in the process of planning her wedding to the lovely Rob. Anyone who knows Kirsten will know that the day will be very PINK! I used PM papers leftover some the wedding planners that I have just made and some bazzill CS and other pink bits and bobs from my crafting table.
LITTLE FAMILY
This LO is of my Eldest Niece Lucie (and Partner) and her new baby Jack, I took these photos at the weekend when i meet Jack for the first time. I liked the idea of using the same photo but playing with the image on my computer to produce different effects. I had another go at using up scrap PP's that have just been sitting about and am pleased at how small my scrap paper pile is getting. I have also used some of the lovely woolly flowers that Tash sent to me at Christmas.
Then yesterday evening three of us fromt he Wightcraft circle had a brainwave and got together for a mini crop :) This gave me the chance to complete a futher three LO's.
HUGS
My first cuddle with Baby Jack. I used Cosmo Cricket papers DCVW CS, some ribbons and laces from my stash and chip board shapes from BasicGrey. I inked my thickers as I didn't have enough in the right clour (they haven't dried very well, so I will have to reink them i think.
using up more left overs and just two full sheets of CS for the next two LO's
STANDING PROUD
SPLASH DOWN

Both photos taken of Diggory at St Helens Duver.

Prima's buttons and ribbons!!!!!
What more could you want in a LO ;)

Big Hands Little Hands

Poor Little Jack he is going to be the most scrapped about baby in history. Here's my lastest LO about my great nephew JackJack. the title is made up from American Crafts stickers and some Doodlebug rub-on's.

I used a mix of papers and stamped and cut out a journalling block. I love these chipboard Apples they are so sweet.
I made the date block on my computer using word and just scalloped punched it out. adding a mini journal tag and a ladybug :)

Scrap like you mean it.
week 4 (yes I'm behind) was to work from this sketch
My Lo is all about my niece Lucie's pregnancy and how she changed over the 9 months.
I also made this LO to co-ordinate with it.
I love my new Crate paper Papers and the Chipboard shapes are new as well. so much for not spending so much on stash this year..... Oh well.

Prima's and buttons again :)

Wedding Planners for my friend.

After my niece's wedding planners turned out so well I made another one for a girl friend who is getting married in September.

I chose a more muted theme this time more "grown up" lots of golds and slivers
All the papers are PM with some Bazzill cardstock for the pockets and a little added colour.
Like in the girls books I have made each page a large pocket, to hold magazine clippings and notes about the wedding day.
Many of the pages have scalloped edges courtesy of my lovely new woodware trimmer.
